BYZANTINE EMPIRE. Phocas.
Gold Solidus, AD 607-610. Constantinople.
Obv: ∂ N FOCAS PЄRP AVC, draped and cuirassed bust facing, holding globus cruciger and wearing crown without pendilia. Rev: VICTORIA AVGЧ Θ, angel standing facing, holding staff surmounted by staurogram and globus cruciger; CONOB in exergue.

Mint State; minor die shift to rev., otherwise outstanding - well-detailed and exhibiting wonderfully lustrous metal.
