ROMAN EMPIRE. Divus Claudius.
Silver Denarius, AD 54. Rome.
Struck under Nero. Obv: DIVVS CLAVDIVS AVGVSTVS, laureate head left. Rev: slow quadriga proceeding right, with temple as car (tensa), decorated panels and pediment, surmounted by quadriga with Victories as acroteria; EX•S•C in exergue.
