ROMAN PROVINCIAL. SELEUCIS AND PIERIA, ANTIOCH. Aulus Gabinius (as Proconsul).
Silver Tetradrachm , Circa 57-55 BC.
In the name and types of Seleucid king Philip I 'Philadelphus'. Obv: diademed head right. Rev: Zeus Nicephorus seated left; ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ to right, ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΟ to left, Gabinius monogram to inner left; all within laurel wreath.

Extremely Fine; a terrific example.
