ANCIENT GREECE. KINGDOM OF ARMENIA. Tigranes II 'the Great'.
Silver Tetradrachm, circa 80-68 BC. Tigranokerta.
Obv: diademed and draped bust right, wearing Armenian tiara with five peaks, adorned with star flanked by two eagles and jewelled diadem. Rev: BAΣIΛEΩΣ TIΓPANOY, Tyche of Antioch seated right on rock pile, holding palm, Orontes swimming right below; [uncertain monogram(s)] on rock, all within wreath.

About Extremely Fine; streaks of subtle blue iridescence to both sides.
