ANCIENT GREECE. KINGDOM OF PARTHIA. Phraates IV.
Silver Drachm, circa 38-32 BC. Ekbatana.
Obv: diademed and draped bust left, with wart on forehead, pointed beard and segmented necklet; star in crescent to left, eagle with wreath in beak to right. Rev: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΝ ΑΡΣΑΚΟΥ ΕΥΕΡΓΕΤΟΥ ΔΙΚΑΙΟΥ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ ΦΙΛΕΛΛΗΝΟΣ, archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; monogram below bow.

Extremely Fine; attractive iridescent old cabinet tone.
