Description

ANCIENT GREECE. THRACE, BYZANTION.
Silver drachm, circa 340-320 BC.
Obv: bull standing left above dolphin; BV in Megarian alphabet above. Rev: incuse granulated mill-sail pattern. Good Extremely Fine; a lovely specimen, its devices picked out from the dark cabinet tone by beautiful golden iridescence.
