ANCIENT GREECE. THESSALY, THESSALIAN LEAGUE.
Bronze 20mm, circa 150-100 BC.
Hippolo- and Ari-, magistrates. Obv: laureate head of Apollo right. Rev: Athena Itonia advancing right, holding shield and preparing to hurl spear; ΘΕΣΣΑΛΩΝ around, ΙΠΠΟΛΟ above, API across inner fields.
Very Fine.
