ANCIENT GREECE. ISLANDS OFF THRACE, THASOS.
Silver tetradrachm, circa 168-148 BC.
Obv: head of young Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev: HPAKΛEOYΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ ΘAΣIΩN, Herakles standing left, holding club and lion skin; M to inner left.
Extremely Fine; splendid light cabinet tone with multi-coloured iridescent highlights.
