About Extremely Fine; light tooling - a wonderful portrait struck from artistic dies | ROMAN EMPIRE. Marcus Aurelius (Caesar).
Bronze sestertius, AD 152-153. Rome.
Obv: AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F, bare head right. Rev: TR POT VII COS II, Minerva, helmeted and draped, standing left, holding Victory and resting left hand on round shield set on ground, spear resting against left arm; S-C across fields.
About Extremely Fine; light tooling - a wonderful portrait struck from artistic dies.
