Roman Empire Nero AD 65-66 Æ Dupondius or As Very Fine
Very Fine | ROMAN EMPIRE. Nero.
Bronze dupondius or as, AD 65-66. Lugdunum.
Obv: IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P M TR POT P P, laureate head right, small globe at point of bust. Rev: SECVRITAS AVGVSTI, Securitas enthroned right, resting head against right hand and holding short sceptre in left; in front, lighted and garlanded altar, on which leans lighted torch resting on a bucranium; S-C across fields.
Very Fine.

Rarity: Unpublished in the standard reference works with this obv. legend; no other examples found on CoinArchives, possibly unique.
