Bronze sestertius, AD 211. Rome.
Obv: M AVREL ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, laureate head right, drapery on shoulder. Rev: VICT BRIT TR P XIIII COS III, Victory standing right, with foot on helmet, erecting trophy; to right, woman standing facing and captive seated left on floor; SC in exergue.
About Extremely Fine; flan crack, otherwise an appealing bronze, boasting impressive detail.

Provenance: ex GRMH Collection, acquired from Serge Boutin (Paris) in October 1972 for FR 600.
