Description

ANCIENT GREECE. ATTICA, ATHENS. Eastern (or Egyptian?) Imitation.
Silver tetradrachm, circa 400-300 BC.
Obv: Athena head right, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with three olive leaves, round earring and pearl necklace. Rev: ΑΘΕ, owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square.
Good Very Fine.
