ANCIENT GREECE. KINGDOM OF MACEDON. Philip III 'Arrhidaios'.
Silver drachm, circa 323-319 BC. 'Kolophon'.
Struck under Menander of Kleitos, in the name and types of Alexander III 'the Great'. Obv: head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus Aëtophoros seated left, holding sceptre and eagle; barley grain in left field, spearhead in outer right field.
