CHACH BRANCH AT MULTAN: Sri Tapanasa, before 712, AR dammas (0.74g), Mitch-MNI-269/75, FT-M4, crowned bust right, with akshara tentatively read as ku in the forehead // three pellets, sri tapanasa around; the name means "of the sun", and might be a reference to the Sun Temple at Multan; this piece is of pre-Islamic style of the Multan mint, EF.
