ILKHAN: Ghazan Mahmud, 1295-1304, AR dirham (2.29g), Ermenek ("Armanâk"), AH699, A-2175var, unusual obverse legend: khan a'zam qazan / sultan mahmud / khalad Allah multahu, reverse with kalima in square, mint above in the top segment of the margin, about 15% flat strike, EF, RRR, ex Christian Rasmussen Collection. Ermenek later became a Beylik mint, especially for the Karamanids.
