AMIR OF WAKHSH: Abu'l-'Abbas, 1221-1224, AV dinar (3.93g) (Wakhsh), ND, A-E1754, VF to EF. It has been suggested that Abu'l-'Abbas is not a local ruler, but a slightly incorrect name of the 'Abbasid caliph al-Nasir, probably struck after the Mongol conquest.
