RUSSIAN EMPIRE: Nicholas II, 1894-1917, AV 7½ roubles, 1897, Y-63, ANACS graded AU50. This type was a one-year experiment in minting a gold coinage to the French standard; this denomination matched the gold twenty franc coin.
