MACEDONIAN KINGDOM: Philip II, 359-336 BC, AR tetradrachm (14.11g), posthumous issue of Amphipolis, struck ca. 323-315 BC, laureate head of Zeus right // naked youth on horseback right, palm in right hand and reins in left; aphlaston below horse, Γ below raised foreleg, VF. From an old Collection, purchased by the collector in the 1960s with his tag.
