GREENLAND: Ivigtut Cryolite Mining, 10 kroner, 1922, KM-Tn49, seated polar bear facing left with winged mining helmet on top, AU. Ivigtut is the only locality outside of Siberia known to produce the mineral kryolite (or kryolith) used in the production of aluminum.
