SAMATATA: Anonymous, ca. 450-500, AV dinar (6.63g), Mitch-22 (Bengal & Later Arakan), king standing left, holding trident in trident to right // nimbate Nana standing right, holding mace scepter, Kushan tamgha before, blundered Brahmi legend (meaningless!), struck from somewhat worn dies (as is typical), scrape on obverse, edge filings, lightly wavy flan, Choice XF Formally assigned to a theoretical ruler Vira Jadamarah, but that never existed, as confirmed by recent research.
