TIMURID: Shahrukh, 1405-1447, AR tanka (5.49g), Qumm, AH821, A-2403, Dauwe-182:Ba2, with the phrase khalad Allah mulkahu wa khilafatuhu ("may Gold preserve is his kingship and caliphate"), used only AH819-822 (and until 825 at Khwarizm); very rare mint for this type, bold strike, VF-XF, RR, ex Roland Dauwe Collection. This is the only Timurid type on which the ruler claims the caliphate.
