ALCHON HUNS: Proper Hephthalites, ca. 475-550, AR drachm (4.04g), G-E25, Vondrovec-287A/B, cf. Zeno-42957 for further information, Sasanian-style bust right, probably derived from Kavad I (484-497 AD, 499-531) with one Bactrian word before // half portrait left, raising a cup (of wine?) with his right hand, his left hand akimbo, Sogdian words in the field, assigned to a theoretical "King of Hyons", VF, RRR, ex Dr. Dirk Löer Collection.
