SAMANID: Nuh III, 976-997, AR multiple dirham, Tayiqan, AH380, A-1469A, 9.85g, SNAT-1235 (same dies), with fine calligraphy, Qur'an Verse 9:34 in reverse margin ("And those who hoard up gold and silver, and spend it not in the Way of God, [announce unto them a painful torment]"), crude planchet, VF-XF, RRR. This piece (as well as the Tayiqan AH372 also in this sale) appears to be the first multiple dirhams of Tayiqan ever offered at public auction.
