KUSHAN: Vasu Deva I, ca. 191-230+, AV ¼ dinar (2.01g), G-510 (different dies), Vasu Deva standing, holding long staff and offering sacrifice at altar, trident to left // Siva standing, holding trident & diadem, the bull in the background, superb bold strike, choice EF, R. The trident to the left dates this piece in the latter years of his reign. Extremely delightful example of this moderately rare type, seldom found in this magnificent quality.
