WORLDWIDE: LOT of 7 gold pieces: Ottoman: AV sultani of Murad III, Misr mint (VF, but mount removed); and AV ¼ zeri mahbub 1223 year 7 (EF); Medieval Ceylon: AV ¼ kahavanu (choice VF); Japan, AV uncertain private piece, call "cipangc " by the consignor (VF); Egypt: early private AV imitation of an Austrian design, called FOR UNEMPLOYED MONEY JEWELRY (2.80g, EF); and two modern elephant fanams, probably with little or no gold; retail value $475, lot of 7 pieces.
