ABBASID: al-Ma'mun, 810-833, AR dirham (2.41g), al-Shash, AH196, A-223.4, Lowick—, some porosity, mint & date slightly weak but certain, VF, RR. Appears to be an unpublished Abbasid date for the mint of al-Shash, a silver-mining town near modern Tashkent in Uzbekistan.
