It is possible that YZ refers to Yazid b. al-Muhallab, who was governor of Khorasan under al-Hajjaj b. Yusuf, and in about AH84 or early 85, sent an army to Sijistan that successfully defeated the rebel Ibn al-Ash'ath (i.e., 'Abd al-Rahman b. Muhammad), who had rebelled against al-Hajjaj in AH82 or 83.
