BENGAL PRESIDENCY: AR rupee, Muhammadabad Benares, AH1229 year 17-49 (frozen), KM-Pn3.1, Stv-7.142. Prid-285, East India Company issue in the name of Shah Alam II, Fourth Phase, silver trial or proof pattern rupee struck in Calcutta with outline fish symbol, struck from unfinished dies with frozen date and mint, very rare, a lovely example with lovely toning! NGC graded Proof 63, RRR. Tied for the highest graded at NGC (Top Pop).
