ROMAN EMPIRE: Augustus, 27 BC-14 AD, AR cistophorus (11.94g), Ephesus, 25 BC, RIC-477, RPC-I/2213, bare head right, IMP CAE-SAR below // Capricorn right with head left, carrying cornucopia on its back, all within laurel wreath, faint Greek graffito in obverse field, small scuff on reverse, beautiful old-cabinet toning with traces of luster, accompanied with collector's tag, Choice XF, ex J. F. Hanzlik Collection.
