ANCIENT GREECE: LOT of 22 coins, all bronze unless otherwise noted, including Bruttium (the Bretti AE25), Sicily (Syracuse Agathokles AE21), Thessaly (Lamia), Macedonia (4, incl. Alexander III AR drachm VG, and Augustus AE19 of Philippi), Ionia (2 of Ephesos, incl. one of Augustus), Cilicia (2, incl. Pompey Magnus of Soli-Pompeiopolis), Pisidia (Antioch), Syria (2, incl. Seleukid Kingdom Tryphon AE17), Egypt (3 Roman tetradrachms: two Philip I and a lovely EF Diocletian); plus one each from Nabataea, Parthia (Phraates AR drachm), Indo-Parthians (Abdagases BI tetradrachm), and 2 of Rum Seljuq; most in average circulated conditions, some bronzes with light corrosion, all attributed on accompanying holders; retail value $450, lot of 22 pieces.
