'Umar, governor of Iraq, about 738744, AE fals (3.25g), Zaranj, ND, A-A204, mint name below the kalima on the obverse, governor's name in the reverse margin, with the mythical bird known as the senmurg in the center of the reverse, unpublished and probably unique, Very Good, RRR. Yusuf b. 'Umar was never recorded as governor of Sijistan, but since he controlled both Kufa and Basra, he was likely also recognized as chief governor over Sijistan.
