EASTERN SISTAN: Tamim b. Sa'id, governor, 783-786, AR drachm (2.85g), SK (Sijistan), ND, A-89, decent strike, minor porosity, as almost always on the later Eastern Sistan drachms, VF, RR. The later drachms of the Eastern Sistan governors were struck on debased silver, which is found with at least some degree of porosity and adhesions, likely due to the nature of the soil in which they were found.
