CHINA: AE charm (55.13g), cf. CCH-835 (diameter), 53mm, Eight Treasure Charm, with deer, peach tree, and bat symbolizing wealth, longevity, and blessing respectively // jin yù man táng cháng mìng fù guì (Great wealth and longevity), surrounded by eight treasures: the pearl (flaming pearl), the silver ingot (sycee or yuan bao), the double lozenge, the coral, a single rhinoceros horn, the writing brush and Chinese ink, the precious mirror, and the scepter (rúyì), a well-cast example with pleasing brown patina, VF. Likely cast in the Qing dynasty.
