ZAND: Karim Khan, 1753-1779, AV ½ mohur (5.39g), Isfahan, AH1184, A-2789, type D, with the Shi'ite kalima instead of the Zand couplet, the only example of this type from Isfahan I have ever seen, possibly unique (the type is almost always from Shiraz, rarely from Yazd or Basra), NGC graded AU58, RRR. This piece is on CoinArchives for five different auctions 2013-2016, the first four "raw", the last one after it was slabbed by NGC. This will be its 6th time at auction, but its first time with description of rarity, and may still be unique!
