SAFAVID: Isma'il I, 1501-1524, AR ½ shahi (4.67g), Qandahar, AH(92)8, A-2585F, date confirmed by the pointed hexafoil shaped cartouche, characteristic of the 3rd eastern standard, used only AH927-928; very rare mint for the Safavids, testmark on reverse, VF, RRR.
