GREAT SELJUQ: Tughril Beg, 1038-1063, AE large fals (33.4mm) (11.81g), NM, ND, A-1666-var, also citing the Abbasid caliph al-Qa'im (1031-1075), with an uncertain name below the caliph's name, perhaps something like Shâwar Salâr, possibly related to the contemporary Shirvanshah Salar b. Yazid (1049-1064); porous surfaces; appears to be unpublished and not yet fully identified, F-VF, RRR. We have found no information on the internet that would help identify the mysterious name.
