FATIMID: al-Mansur, 946-953, AR ¼ dirham (0.68g), ND, A-696I, style similar to the half dirham of al-Mansur, as at the mint of Fès, but no mint name visible on this piece; also citing unknown governor Ahmad b. 'Isa; with three-flower ornament below the legends on each side; some weakness of strike, VF, RRRR. It is likely that Ahmad b. 'Isa was the official of one of the Berber tribes in what is now Morocco and Algeria, though I have not been able to find any reference to that name.
