VAKHSH VALLEY: Anonymous, ca. 7th-9th century (?), AE cash (2.73g), Zeno-182879, round central hole within a circle, undeciphered legend in stylized Bactrian script // tamgha, scratches on both sides, crude VF, RRR. Most known examples of this type (Zeno-182879) were found in the region of Kolkhozabad in the Vakhsh Valley of Tajikistan.
