MALAY STATES: LOT of 33 coins (1 AV), including Pre-Islamic: Jambi-lion type AE unit (cf. Zeno-310220, newly discovered and otherwise unpublished), 18 Sumatran sandalwood-flower type units (12 silver & 6 debased alloy), plus a small tin ingot (2.74g) stamped on both sides and a large uncertain piece (14.72g, conch//keris, possibly modern); and Colonial: 4 Portuguese Malacca tin coins, and a Dutch 2 stuivers bonk 1818; plus 5 AE duits of Banjarmasin (one dated "7187", all with some corrosion), a gold Fatimid fractional dinar of al-Mustansir (0.44g, ND, NM, clipped), plus a Ceylon AE kahavanu; most in average circulated grades; retail value $400, lot of 33 pieces.
