SOGDIANA: LOT of 5 unidentified copper cash pieces (1) facing bust, similar to South Sogd issues but different tamgha on reverse (VG, 1.51g) (2) facing bust, slightly to the left, thin three-pronged shape with pellets in the arcs (VF, 0.63g) (3) head facing left, wearing simple crown // fire altar (Fine, 0.83g) (4) Sasanian style bust right // fire altar (Fine, 0.60g); and (5) facing head (looks more like a cat than a human!) // uncertain tamgha (Fine, 1.42g); interesting research group; retail value $400, lot of 5 pieces. Most of these seem to be related to mystery issues assigned to Bukhara, as on Zeno, Central Asia > Soghd > Bukhara > Unknown rulers.
