Description
ABBASID: cast AE fals (2.62g), al-Quds, AH217, A-291, SNAT-32 (same dies), al-quds means "the holy" and is an epithet for Jerusalem; surprisingly, this is the only coin that ever used the phrase al-quds, struck only in AH217 (not 219 as once considered), F-VF, RR, ex Jacob Yablok Collection. Mint name weak but sufficiently legible.
