The Grant Gold Dollar is one of the several coins honoring the 100th anniversary of the birth of the 18th American President, Ulysses S. Grant. The several coins included silver Half Dollars (with and without a star punched into the obverse die) and gold Dollars (with and without the extra obverse star). With a mintage of a mere 5,000 pieces, this is an extremely popular, collectible coin!
