IRAN: Nasir al-Din Shah, 1848-1896, AE 50 dinars, Tehran, AH1281, KM-Pn3, pattern type, a wonderful specimen example with original red mint luster! PCGS graded Specimen 64 RB, RR. Although the mint name appears as Tehran on this type, it was likely struck at a European mint, perhaps Brussels, Belgium. Very rare so nice with only one example graded higher by PCGS!
