Neither Pridmore nor Krause SCWC list dates of this type prior to AH1195, but others of these early dates are known. Cf. Baldwin's auction 40, lot 998, a similar rupee of AH1176 year 8, and Noonan's Auction 268 lot 257, the only two other examples of this early period that we have been able to trace.
