ABBASID: al-Rashid, 786-809, AR 1/4 dirham (0.89g), uncertain mint, AH182 or 185, A-219D-var, North African style, with reverse central legend seems to be muhammad rasul Allah / al-rahman / al-rahim, with the name Muhammad b. al-Hasan, weakly struck; unpublished and of inspiring curiosity for further research, F-VF, RRRR. The denomination is perhaps 1/3 rather than 1/4 dirham, related to the roughly 2.65 North African dirham of the Idrisids before the reform in AH197 and the contemporary Kharijite of 'Ibadi opposition.
