ERETNIDS: Eretna, 1335-1352, LOT of 14 silver akçes from 14 different mints, including Aksehir AH746, Anguriya 748, Bayburt 747, Erzincan 751, Erzurum 747; Kangiri 749, Kayseri 749, Kirsehir 746, Konya 746, Lulua DM (type of AH747), Maden 751, Samsun 748, Sivas 749, and Tokat 747; average VF condition, some nicer, several with some weakness of strike and some with weak dates; retail value $700, lot of 14 pieces. This group was selected from a large hoard acquired by Stephen Album nearly 40 years ago, sold to the consignor at that time. Eretnid akçes were then considered common, not true any longer.
