FRENCH COLONIES: Louis XV, 1715-1774, AR 2 sols (sou marqué), Strasbourg, 1762-BB, KM-500.4, Gad-281, an attractive mint state example! PCGS graded MS62, ex Joe Sedillot Collection. Struck for use in France, New France, the French Caribbean Colonies, as well as Saint Pierre and Miquelon. These were widely used in the French American colonies as they were made with low grade silver and widely accepted.
