DURRANI: Ahmad Shah, 1747-1772, AR rupee (11.37g), Lahore, AH11xx year one (ahad), A-3092, cf. Herrli for the Sikhs, p.169, for the history of Lahore during this period, Lahore was still under Mughal control until AH1173, but brief Durrani occupations took place in AH1160 (year one), 1165/5, and 1170/10 (and 1171/1 in the name of Taimur as Nizam), all extremely rare; five testmarks, VF, RRR.
