BURMA: TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th/18th century, cast large tin coin (71.86g), Robinson-18 (Plate 10.1), 69.5mm; mythical hintha bird facing right, Burmese legend around, which translates as "city of great happiness" // knotted dragon above the sea, wonderful example! beautiful EF, RR. Four examples of this type has been sold in our auctions 33-43, but this is cast from a different pair of molds.
