Description

YUAN: Zhi Yuan, 1285-1294, AE 3 cash (6.68g), H-19.15, je üen tung baw in Mongolian 'Phags-pa script (zhi yuan tong bao in Chinese), light scratches, otherwise a lovely example, Fine to VF. Kublai Khan (Zhi Yuan) was the fifth Khagan (Great Khan) of the Ikh Mongol Uls (Mongol Empire), reigning from 1260 to 1294, and the founder of the Chinese Yuan dynasty, a division of the Mongol Empire.
